7/7/2025 - NOTICE: How to help Williamson County victims of July 4-6 flash floods

Dear Brushy Creek MUD residents,

Over the July 4 weekend, torrential rains brought about flash flooding that affected several areas throughout and beyond Central Texas, including in Williamson County.

If you would like to provide assistance to local residents who have been impacted by the floods, The Central Texas Community Foundation has created a fund you can donate to directly at Wilco Cares – Support July 2025 Flood Victims.

Additionally, Williamson County is encouraging residents to report any personal property damage to the Texas Department of Emergency Management through the iSTAT reporting tool available here.

For much more information on ways to help and the latest news on the weekend’s flash floods, visit Williamson County, TX | Official Website.

We recognize that this is a deeply difficult time for many in our community, and our thoughts are with all those who have experienced loss or displacement due to the recent flooding. In moments like these, the strength of The Brushy Creek Life shines through and means coming together, supporting one another, and rebuilding as a community are at the heart of who we are.
